Lake Iseo: Monte Isola and Torbiere
In the heart of Franciacorta, a wine production area, Lake Iseo is a small jewel nestled between mountains and hills. Its shores are very varied. On one side there are vineyards, orchards, olive trees and woods.
On the other stretches of beach, sheer cliffs and rock spurs.
Mount Island
It is the largest inhabited lake island in Europe. At an altitude of 600 m above sea level, in the highest point of the island, there is the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Ceriola, from which one can enjoy a wide panorama.
Gli orridi
Halfway between the characteristic villages of Riva di Solto and Castro, there is the evocative spectacle of the ravines, imposing rocks arranged in vertical slabs overlooking the water. In particular, the ravine of the Bogn in the locality of Zorzino di Riva di Solto appears to be breathtakingly beautiful.
Torbiere del Sebino
The Torbiere del Sebino Nature Reserve is a large wetland on the southern shore of the lake. Composed of reeds and stretches of water, it is considered one of the most important European bird-watching paradises.

Ancient villages
Iseo still retains the conformation of the ancient medieval village, in which the Oldofredi Castle, the Pieve di Sant'Andrea and Piazza Garibaldi stand out. A few kilometers away is Pisogne, whose historic center develops around Piazza Corna Pellegrini and houses the Church of Santa Maria in Silvis and the Church of Santa Maria della Neve with frescoes by Romanino.
The thermal baths of the Roman villa of Predore
Predore hid for fifteen hundred years the ruins of a thermal complex from the 2nd-3rd century AD which, in Roman times, must have been stupendous and rich in mosaics.
Subject of a recent and careful restoration, they can now be visited every weekend.
